There is an inseparable relation between skin and Manas due to their Sarva Indirya Vyapakatva so any problem to the sparshanendriya also affects the Manas. Panchakarma are procedures where the Doshas are made Utklishta by the administration of Snehana and Swedana therapies and are expelled out through the nearest route. The five procedures coming under Panchakarma are Vamana (Emesis), Virechana (Purgation), Basti (Medicated enema) Nasya (Errhine) and Rakthamokshana (Bloodletting).
