The immigrant ancestor of this family is Robert Fuller, born in Reden- hall, Norfolk, England, between 1615 and 1619, a son of Thomas and Ann Fuller. He came to Massachusetts in 1638 on the ship "Bevis" and settled in Salem. He married Sarah Bowen around 1642. She was killed by indians in 1676. In 1645 Robert Fuller bought land in Re- hoboth, Mass., and moved there with his family five years later. After his first wife's death he moved back to Salem and married a widow, Margaret Waller (d. 1699) in 1697. Now they moved back to Rehoboth, where Margaret died two years later. Robert died 1706. Sarah Bowen was born in Wales, a daughter of Richard Bowen and Ann Born. The family immigrated to Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Descendants live mainly in Massachusetts and Ohio.
