This book was 80% done during the pandemic. While most were struggling to survive and adjust to the chaotic times that befell on all of Humanity, i used that time to hone my skills as an artist. I am an artist residing in Kansas City, MO, instead of secluding myself in my studio after working 40-60 hours a week, i found myself going out in frigid temperatures as well as scorching ones doing what i loved. Painting. i found myself stocking/ color coding my living room floor (sans furniture) with at least 400 cans of spray paint, as well as multiple gallons of house paint. Instead of participating in the pandemic, i was featuring in my own Paintdemic so to speak. i wanted to put a physical sample of what i had done as a documentation of what one could accomplish with their time.

How Christians can think biblically, act wisely, and relate lovingly over transgender issues. There’s been huge cultural change in the last few decades. Same-sex marriage would have been unthinkable 20 or 30 years ago. Now it’s almost universally accepted in the Western world. Now suddenly the issue of transgender is the next big social, cultural issue that has dominated the headlines. Vaughan Roberts surveys the Christian worldview and seeks to apply these principles to the many complex questions surrounding gender identity. This short book gives an overview and a starting point for constructive discussion as we seek to live in a world with different values, and love, serve and relate to transgender people. Talking Points is a series of short books by Vaughan Roberts, designed to help Christians think, talk and relate to others with compassion, conviction and wisdom about today’s big issues.

Download Reform Doesn't Work Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Where does education happen? In classrooms. Teachers can provide the ultimate reform of education and teachers can be the ultimate reformers of education. Still, teachers cannot create all of the needed improvements in education alone. Input from, involvement from, ideas from, and participation from many other people can combine with what only teachers know about education to create the educational improvements which are sought year after year. School administrators, parents, guardians, school board members, community members, community organizations, politicians and other people can join in a grass-roots effort which agrees on a shared purpose for schools and on a way to improve schools so the purpose of a school – to cause learning – is realized.
