The ?igveda is the first book of humankind and the most sacred scripture of Hinduism. It also happens to be the most ill-understood book of our times. Despite the extensive study by academic and religious scholars, the purpose and meaning of the ?igveda and many ancient Hindu scriptures remain unclear. In this pathbreaking book, the discovery of the ?igveda as a book of ancient cosmology is described, and related to the seals of ancient Indus Valley Civilization, thereby challenging our perception of humanity."The Vedas have always been lauded as containing the secrets of cosmogenesis. Raja Roy in his remarkable book shows how this is true not only from the yogic vison but according to the latest insights of modern physics. The book takes the reader on a vast panoramic journey through the universe of matter, mind and human history as well."David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri), Director, American Institute of Vedic Studies"Roy presents a new framework for the understanding of the Vedic hymns from the point of view of physics and then he draws parallels with recent theories on the nature of the universe. We celebrate the new path he has hewn through the bush of old scholarship."Professor Subhash Kak, Oklahoma State University

The mysteries of the fifth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam have long puzzled students of Vedic cosmography and astronomy. Confronted with a description of the universe that seems much at variance with the information provided by our senses and standard astronomical calculations, foreign observers and even Indian commentators from the middle ages up to the present have concluded that the Bhagavatam`s account elaborated in other Puranas must be mythological. On the other hand the same persons have been much impressed with vedic astronomical treatises the jyotisasastras which provide remarkably accurate measurements of the solar system.

From the flat earth to the sun`s chariot traditional spiritual texts seem wedded to outmoded cosmologies that show, at best, the scientific limitations of their authors. The Bhagavata Purana, one of the classical scriptures of Hinduism, seems, at first glance, to be no exception. However, a closer examination of this text reveals unexpected depths of knowledge in ancient cosmology. This shows that the cosmology of the Bhagavata Purana is a sophisticated system, with multiple levels of meaning that encode at least four different astronomical, geographical, and spiritual world models. By viewing the text in the light of modern astronomy, Richard Thompson shows how ancient scientists expressed exact knowledge in apparently mythological terms. Comparison with the ancient traditions of Egypt and the Near East shows early cultural connections between India and these regions including a surprisingly advanced science. However, quantitative science is only part of the picture. This work also offers a clear understanding of how the spiritual dimension was integrated into ancient Indian cosmology. “Technological excellence is the only method to approach aliens to whom we say God. Technology does not mean only scientific advancement which is tested and proved but spiritual advancement also which is tested by our saints and we observe its effectiveness in our daily lives. Science works for the physical body and spiritual science works for the Mind and Heart. The combination of both can convert humans to the level of great civilization like God”.

The idea that the universe was created by God often meets hostile opposition from proponents of rationality and science because unlike science that creates empirical laws, religious theories seem to make no verifiable predictions. But in Vedic Creationism, author Ashish K. Dalela shows that a personal theistic account of creation given in the Vedas has radical implications for the study of matter and questions of creation, including new verifiable predictions based upon a different conception of reality. An expansive examination of the meaning of the universe by comparing and contrasting varying philosophical vantages, Vedic Creationism covers the journey from Vedic notions on God's personality and conscious mind to the implication these ideas have for the origins of life and the attainment of quantum gravity. Dalela relates the ideas in Vedic philosophy with the current state of affairs in modern science including the mind-body problem, the unification of quantum and relativity theories, and the question of evolution and origins of life. Presenting new, forward-looking ideas, Vedic Creationism will help put the age-old wisdom of Vedas in a modern light and open new areas of dialogue.

The tradition of Vedic chanting was included by UNESCO in 2003 in the collection of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, and in 2008 in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The word Vedas is Sanskrit (Indo-Aryan) and means ,,knowledge", not belief. The Vedas do not constitute religion in the sense of a pious faith (without knowledge), but a science of captivating logic and wholeness. In this essay I want to show that it obviously even can fulfill the expectations on a ,,Theory of Everything" (TOE).However, Vedic science itself does not claim to include a theory, but the absolute, definitive and unchangeable truth. This was also not the result of human considerations, but has been handed over to humans by Brahma (Creator of the Universe). Here it should be particularly emphasized that the Vedas contain the same scientific knowledge as the pyramid cultures.Since then, this knowledge has been transmitted orally by Brahmins, in which each Brahmin family was entrusted only a portion of the whole, and this was passed down in verse and song from generation to generation. It was not until the first millennium BC that the written deposition of the Vedas began, producing a picture containing enough fragments to recognize it as a metaphysical concept, but not enough to understand its full scientific meaning.I have reconstructed the missing fragments during my study of the Vedas, and the enthusiasm that overwhelmed me when I recognized the dimension that opened up to me with the salvage of this treasure can hardly be expressed by words. Let me put it this way: if the world view that reveals her proves to be true, then we are probably at the dawn of a new technological age and before a quantum leap in our consciousness.Pursuant to that, matter evolves from electromagnetic patterns (toroidal multipole patterns), that are brought into resonance with each other via the poloidal and toroidal field of the universe, and thus to materialization. However, the proof that this is really the case can only be provided by scientists. This essay reveals in a manageable way, with a multitude of illustrations and without a single mathematical formula, so that really everyone can understand it, in which way the universe works according to the ,,Vedic TOE".
