Prof. L. R. Jones was first to find the cure by selecting and breeding yellows disease proof varieties. No claim is made of freedom or immunity from other diseases, such as Clubfoot, stem rot or black rot. Large crops have been grown on yellows infected land from disease resistant seed, where other varieties partially or entirely failed. Yellows disease is prevalent throughout the Mid central States.
