Central to God’s character is the quality of holiness. Yet, even so, most people are hard-pressed to define what God’s holiness precisely is. Many preachers today avoid the topic altogether because people today don’t quite know what to do with words like “awe” or “fear.” R. C. Sproul, in this classic work, puts the holiness of God in its proper and central place in the Christian life. He paints an awe-inspiring vision of God that encourages Christian to become holy just as God is holy. Once you encounter the holiness of God, your life will never be the same.

Also there are Biblical examples of traitors in the Bible. God gives warnings to those who become traitors. Until we understand what Jesus accomplished on the cross, we will not understand the Christian faith. God is holy, so He cannot simply overlook our sin. That means we all stand condemned before His righteous judgment. In order to find deliverance from the wrath we deserve, we must look to the Savior who has paid the penalty of sin for those who trust in Him. In this book, Dr. R.C. Sproul surveys the Bible's teaching about the cross of Christ and the grace of God in redeeming His people.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.' 1 John 1:1—4 In evangelical Christianity, the phrase 'the Word of God' is widely accepted to refer to the Bible, but new author Dennis Mulkey provides a fresh look into the identity of the Word of God in Treason Against Christ. Pulling evidence from the Old and New Testament Scriptures, Mulkey argues that this widely accepted understanding is not the divine intention. Mulkey likens this mistaken identity to the once commonly accepted opinion that the earth was the center of the universe. He calls for a religious Copernican Revolution—a re-evaluation of the identity of the Word of God. Join Dennis Mulkey as he explains where the identity of the Word of God was lost, what the biblically proven, true identity of the Word of God is, and how you can rightly respond to this Treason Against Christ. 'This is a must book for every student of God's Word. Dr. Mulkey does what God's Word teaches us to do—glorify Jesus Christ in everything.—Dr. Glenn Mollette President, Newburgh Theological Seminary

"The United States Code is the official codification of the general and permanent laws of the United States of America. The Code was first published in 1926, and a new edition of the code has been published every six years since 1934. The 2012 edition of the Code incorporates laws enacted through the One Hundred Twelfth Congress, Second Session, the last of which was signed by the President on January 15, 2013. It does not include laws of the One Hundred Thirteenth Congress, First Session, enacted between January 2, 2013, the date it convened, and January 15, 2013. By statutory authority this edition may be cited "U.S.C. 2012 ed." As adopted in 1926, the Code established prima facie the general and permanent laws of the United States. The underlying statutes reprinted in the Code remained in effect and controlled over the Code in case of any discrepancy. In 1947, Congress began enacting individual titles of the Code into positive law. When a title is enacted into positive law, the underlying statutes are repealed and the title then becomes legal evidence of the law. Currently, 26 of the 51 titles in the Code have been so enacted. These are identified in the table of titles near the beginning of each volume. The Law Revision Counsel of the House of Representatives continues to prepare legislation pursuant to 2 U.S.C. 285b to enact the remainder of the Code, on a title-by-title basis, into positive law. The 2012 edition of the Code was prepared and published under the supervision of Ralph V. Seep, Law Revision Counsel. Grateful acknowledgment is made of the contributions by all who helped in this work, particularly the staffs of the Office of the Law Revision Counsel and the Government Printing Office"--Preface.
