This project was to create coworking spaces that provide workers an innovative working environment based on the student design competition that was held by Steelcase Inc. The designers aimed to create this coworking space with ideas of independence, comfort, simplicity, and functionality incorporated with sustainable design. A comfort and safe working environment can encourage members to share interests and collaborative opportunities. Also, a well-designed work environment allowing workers explore their best energy and ideas for their work. The literature review discussed the definition of coworking space, the significance of coworking space and the methods to design coworking space. The design concept and development of this project were based on the literature review and the education that the designers received in their design classes. This project may provide some reference to people who also want to design coworking spaces in the future.
