Such a liberation does occur, not as a result of wearing glasses, but in spite of their use. It would have just as readily occurred if these persons had' religiously shunned glasses When they really needed them. The need for glasses is based on deviation in the size or shape of the eyeball from the normal. The question Of tinted glasses for everyday use is one that has raised many controversies. While in a few instances such lenses may be recommended because of excessive sensitiveness to light of average intensity, they are quite objectionable to normal eyes because of the unnatural color stimulation they introduce.
