“The Parable code” is spiritual to the living and the dead. Those “Indwelled with the Holy Spirit of God” live in “Forgiveness Peace and Love” with their fellow man and their persecutors just as Jesus was ““double crossed” and “Trumped”” by the High Priests. Jesus assigned cross as your God assigned cross is to bear without “Whining and Sniveling”. Who Killed Homer, by Victor Davis Hanson and John Heath speaks to how Academia was destroyed; also points to how Biblical Fellowship was sold to become the religions of men by men. The elects “Communion” is only with Jesus Christ; not to be replaced by the god Gain, the Profit Lucre or St. Mammon in their quest of Wealth, Power and Fame. “A History of the Jewish People” by H.H. Ben-Sasson, Part III by M. Stern, is about “The Antichrist” John of Gischala Jewish hero of the last four years of “The Apocalypse”, God used the Atheist Issacs Asimov to shanghaies this fool fair and square and guided by the Holy Spirit to this work, words, and reason herein to simplify God’s “WORD” because it has been misused by the predestined dead from the foundation of the World, when God “RESTED”. UPDATED 07/03/19: “The Parables Code” is provided by God to enlighten the elect to salvation and to delude the dead to proceed to their earthly demise on the lake of fire which is forever.

Long before there were printing presses, copy machines, and email, societies used storytelling to convey beliefs, history, and traditions. This practice preceded the ministry of Jesus and continues today in many cultures. But Jesus was a master of storytelling. His words provide many with guidelines and a road map for living. Using familiar imagery found in nature and other recognizable sources, he engaged his listeners with lessons that confronted every aspect of their lives, providing the tools for self-examination and change. Speaking in parables, however, sometimes caused confusion for his listeners, and readers today may wonder what exactly he meant, and how his words apply to everyday life. This book looks at each of Jesus's parables, explaining the key points, the central themes, and the meanings we can take away from the stories. By considering each parable in depth, the author helps readers come to a better understanding of the teachings of Jesus and what they mean for our lives.

Living Parables: Today’s Versions presents parables in updated language and images. Biblical parables are culture-bound; they are embedded in images that were well-known to a Jewish culture. Jesus was a first-century, Jewish, Galilean peasant, and his concerns, speech, and idioms belong to that culture. His milieu is far removed from ours today. The images found in parables carried meaning that is lost on modern audiences. A simple example will suffice. In the Jewish world of the first century, leaven was considered to be corrupt because people did not understand how bacteria worked. On the most important day of the year—Passover—bread had to be unleavened, uncorrupted. Today, no one thinks of yeast in that way. If we want bread dough to rise, we need to leaven it. Therefore, what image might Jesus use today that carries some of the same cultural connotations that yeast or leaven carried in his world? Might he speak about Ebola virus or radioactivity? Those images carry the same negativity that yeast or leaven bore in his world. This book contains parables found in the New Testament in a form that Jesus might tell today.
