The records of MS 1972 comprise minutes, agenda and business papers from the A.C.T. Branch monthly and annual general meetings, financial statements and receipts, Branch newsletters, reports of Branch sub-committees and Boards of Examiners, applications for L.A.A. membership, general business correspondence, correspondence between the Branch and the general secretary in Sydney, newspaper clippings, and L.A.A. handbooks. Also held are the records of LAA 50, a committee set up to organise the commemoration, in September 1987, of the founding of the Australian Institute of Librarians in 1937.
