The Green Flamingo is the story about a flamingo who was born different. Throughout her life, The Green Flamingo was bullied for her appearance not looking like the other flock. The Green Flamingo is a story of hope, bravery, and understanding. This a book meant to teach people to preserve the environment and the dangers of wasting chemicals on the ground. This book is also against bullying and discrimination. It is to teach children and adults to treat each other with respect and dignity. No matter who is different, we are all equals in the eyes of the Lord. From this book, I have created a ballet so the viewers can see and grasp the purpose of the book visibly. The book is described in great details through the ballet from the beginning to end. This book was written to detail my experience in elementary and junior high when I was bullied because of my disability and because of my hight. That is why I created The Green Flamingo because The Green Flamingo is me. And when people read the book and see the ballet, they will see that the green Flamingo could be themselves as well.

Fridays From the Garden is a collection of recipes and stories from a year in a verdant Los Angeles garden. But it's more than that, too. Tracing the trajectory of Flamingo Estate, this cookbook is the story of a house that became a brand, and a brand that became a rallying cry for regenerative farming and Pleasure from the Garden.Spurred from a simple desire to support struggling farmers during the pandemic, founder Richard Christiansen turned his bookstore into a CSA box operation, which quickly grew into a weekly Friday ritual for the greater Los Angeles community - a chance to connect with the marvels of the natural world in the midst of a global pandemic. Each Friday, this box would feature beautiful, delicious produce, recipes inspired by the week's harvest, and a personal note from Richard, urging subscribers to cook a meal for someone they love. This cookbook is a collection of over 150 of those stories and recipes -a monument to the pleasures of the Flamingo Estate garden, the people that keep it buzzing, and the ways in which Mother Nature takes care of us when we take care of her. With stories by Richard Christiansen, a foreword by Martha Stewart and recipes from Chefs Ella Murphy, Jo Kim & more. Featuring the photography of Drew Escriva, Pia Riverola, Christian Högstedt, François Halard, Larkin Donley, Andrea D'Agosto, Adrian Gaut and John Von Palmer.

What makes this map so valuable is the cartographer who created it Jesus Christ Himself! Come with us now as we search for its location with our heroes, Fathers Luke OMalley and Roy Hanley, along with Professor Philip Kasstajet and his constant companion and dearest and loyal friend Numomo Tobasso. Together, they embark for distant lands: Mozambique, Spain, Ireland, and Malta. Only to be separated back in the States between Key West, New York, and Maine. As if this wasnt enough excitement, add to the boiling cauldron, the ever--present Levi Al Natas, old Satan himself! So find a comfortable seat and make sure all the doors and windows are secure. You are about to take a trip which will leave you guessing, what will happen next right up to the last page.
