The concept of this series of books was to help prepare your Toddler for the world by arming them with a variety of nouns, names, places, and things that will help to form the base of their growing vocabulary. Your baby will also need functional words for action (verbs) locations (prepositions), and various descriptive words (adjectives/adverbs) so that they can combine them to make simple phrases. Children will begin to create their own phrases when their vocabularies are close to 50 or more words. This means that if your child doesn't have a sufficient number of words in their vocabulary they won't be able to come up with phrases.
