Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) poet, painter, novelist, explorer, mountaineer, chess master, classical scholar and drug addict was the founder of a religion called thelema, which, he claimed, had superceded Christianity. He was totally at odds with the morality of his time, as this account of his life clearly shows; but avoided confrontation with the authorities by always managing to find sufficient followers to sustain him in his beliefs. Reviled in his lifetime, his fame following his death has risen steeply: he made the pages of the Dictionary of National Biography; and his Abbey of Thelema in Cefalu, from which in 1923 he was ignominiously expelled, has been bought by the city of Cefalu as a tourist attraction. John Symonds is Crowley's literary executor, and his biography og Aleister Crowley is the fullest account of the life of this most bizarre Englishman. The present edition has been considerably revised and augmented, and will remain the standard work on Crowley.

Readers of the New Testament often encounter quotes or allusions to Old Testament stories and prophecies that are unfamiliar or obscure. In order to fully understand the teachings of Jesus and his followers, it is important to understand the large body of Scripture that preceded and informed their thinking. Leading evangelical scholars G. K. Beale and D. A. Carson have brought together a distinguished team to provide readers with a comprehensive commentary on Old Testament quotations, allusions, and echoes that appear from Matthew through Revelation. College and seminary students, pastors, scholars, and interested lay readers will want to add this unique commentary to their reference libraries. Contributors Craig L. Milton S. Terry (1840-1914) was an Old Testament and hermeneutics scholar. This work is a preterist commentary on the Apocalypse (i.e., the Book of Revelation), which is the most Old Testament-oriented work in the New Testament. By frequently accessing Revelation's Old Testament backdrop, Terry provides a bull commentary that demonstrates that Revelation is a prophecy focusing on the coming destruction Jewish Temple in AD 70. Though he sees a portion of the last three chapters as touching on the future which was distant from the Apostle John's time, he sees Revelation's main concern as explaining the completion of the old covenant order in the establishing of the new covenant.

A careful historical and exegetical study of the Beast of Revelation as found in the Book of Revelation. It identifies the Beast as the Roman emperor Nero Caesar, the first persecutor of the Christian church in AD 64. The book also delves into the question of the date of the writing of Revelation, arguing that it was written by John the Apostle around AD 65 or 66.

Download "is the Chip, the 666 Mark of the Beast?": Yes, It Is! Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
I saw two different news broadcasts on a CEO getting a microchip in his hand. And then the employees were next. The phrase they used on the local news at 6:00 was, the C.E.O is leading the way. "They are starting today at the top of this company starting with the C.E.O, of the company, leading the way" The blind leading the blind. I say, well, I know my Bible, and it says to let them take off your head before receiving the mark 666 in your hand. And don't let any man deceive you by any means. Well, I felt I had to get a warning out, because let's face it, not everyone reads the Bible. And I also know how sly the old devil is. So these are my words: Don't take the chip. Get yourself in a good Bible-preaching church. Get ready, stay ready, things are wrapping up according to prophecies.
