Modus operandi is used to describe the methods employed by individuals during the execution of a crime. It opens a whole new range of options to the terrorists that were previously considered unthinkable and probably the most troubling of these options is the use of chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons. Compared to a classical car bomb or suicide attack, the new modus operandi or tactic to attack soft targets, including major landmarks and also kill foregin nationals has the advantage for the terrorists of remaining in the news for a much longer time. It has also a much higher psychological value on the population. The work examine the constellations of group variables such as group psychologies, group behaviours and structures, ideology, available weaponry and material toward extrapolating how they directly influence group strategic targeting approaches, targeting preferences and attack modus operandi particular to individual groups.

Download Islamic Fundamentalist’s Global Network - Modus Operandi - Model Bosnia I Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Islamic Fundamentalist’s Global Network - Modus Operandi - Model Bosnia I. Brief Historical Background The US Congressional Research Service report1 states that Al-Qaeda cells have currently been identified and have also been objectively suspected in at least thirty-four countries and their affiliated geo-political territories presently. Moreover, this same report dated September 10th 2001 released in Washington D.C. on September 13th 2001, only two days after the September 11th terrorist attacks perpetrated against America’s World Trade Center state Osama bin Laden is estimated to have inherited roughly $300- million dollars. Although some terrorist experts believe bin Laden actually has far less than this figure presently, and he is no longer reliant on his personal fortune to finance Al-Qaeda's activities, they claim that alternately he is employing a variety of both legal and illegal business endeavors as fronts for financing his terrorist activities. Over the previous six years, Al-Qaeda’s network led by, Osama bin Laden, has evolved from merely a small regional threat beginning with USW troops stationed in the Persian Gulf, into an all out global threat to international peace and perpetual human survival including a direct threat especially directed against United States citizens and United States associated national security interests. In constructing Al-Qaeda, bin Laden has assembled a coalition of disparate radical Islamicist groups comprised of a variety of ethnic nationalities, all to work towards one common goal which is in Bosnia&Herzegovina, the total ethnic expulsion of everyone non-Muslim so that only Islamist racists are left as the overall controlling influence of these future ethnically pure Islamic Muslim-inhabited lands which once were multi-ethnic as America. Download Changes in Modus Operandi of Islamic State (IS) Revisited Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
The EU is currently witnessing an upward trend in the scale, frequency and impact of terrorist attacks in the jurisdictions of Member States. IS is actively propagating terrorist acts on EU soil by any means available, increasingly inspiring radicalised individuals to act. IS has proven to be very effective in both moving people to commit terrorist acts and to set these actions in motion themselves. The success generated by these terrorist attacks, as seen from an IS perspective, will encourage the group to hit more targets in the EU. New attacks by both terrorist groups and lone actors are thus to be expected, most probably following the patterns that have been used in earlier attacks. New variations in attack, for example in the use of car bombs, may also develop. The continuous increase in arrests and court proceedings across the EU for terrorism related offences of a jihadist nature is proof of the high priority assigned to counter terrorism in law enforcement and the judiciary. The need for enhanced information exchange is increasingly acknowledged and addressed. But as long as IS remains a factor in Syria and Iraq, and even if they are defeated there, they will continue with their attempts to encourage and organise terrorist attacks in the EU.
