In this canto of Srimad Bhagavatam we hear the great sage Shukadeva Goswami answering the questions of King Parikit, who has been cursed to die in seven days. After briefly delineating man's highest duty and the best way to conquer suffering and death, Shukadeva explains the path of mystic yoga and meditation. We are then introduced to Lord Brahma, greatest of the gods and engineer of the universe. Questioned by his son Narada, another powerful mystic, he describes the process of creation. We hear how the all-powerful Supreme Person expands the elements from his spiritual body, enters into them as an expansion of himself, and manifests the template for creation which Brahma then effects. 'Mysteries of Creation' presents this profound and illuminating knowledge in a simplified and dramatic style, making it accessible to all. It offers answers to the often vexing questions of why the creation exists, how we came to be within it, why God apparently lets us suffer, and how we can achieve our fullest potential by awakening our eternal nature as parts of the all-blissful Supreme. Those interested in cosmology and astronomy will also find Mysteries of Creation a fascinating read, presenting as it does the highly scientific descriptions of universal origins, as understood by the enlightened sages of Ancient India. Most of all though, anyone desiring to solve the real problems of life-birth, old age, disease and death-will find this work an invaluable resource.

Srimad-Bhagavatam, an epic philosophical and literary classic, holds a prominent position in India's voluminous written wisdom. The timeless wisdom of India is expressed in the Vedas, ancient Sanskrit texts that touches upon all fields of human knowledge. Originally preserved through oral tradition, the Vedas were first put into writing by Srila Vyasadeva, the "literary incarnation of God." After compiling the Vedas, Srila Vyasadeva was inspired by his spiritual master to present their profound essence in the form of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Known as "the ripened fruit of the tree of Vedic literature," Srimad-Bhagavatam is the most complete and authoritative exposition of Vedic knowledge. After writing the Bhagavatam, Vyasa taught it to his son, Shukadeva Goswami, who later spoke the Bhagavatam to Maharaja Parikshit in an assembly of sages on the bank of the sacred Ganges River. Although Maharaja Parikshit was a great rajarshi (saintly king) and the emperor of the world, when he received notice of his death seven days in advance, he renounced his entire kingdom and retired to the bank of the Ganges to seek spiritual enlightenment. The questions of King Parikshit and Shukadeva Goswami's illuminating answers, concerning everything from the nature of the self to the origin of the universe, are the basis of Srimad-Bhagavatam. This edition of Bhagavatam is the only complete English translation with an elaborate and scholarly commentary, and it is the first edition widely available to the English-reading public. This work is the product of the scholarly and devotional effort of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the world's most distinguished teacher of Indian religious and philosophical thought. His Sanskrit scholarship and intimate familiarity with Vedic culture combine to reveal to the West a magnificent exposition of this important classic.

Words of wisdom spoken by Lord Krishna Himself to His disciple Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. In this modern era, the same knowledge is provided with a view that you can fight your battles with a purpose and yet stay pious in any situation. So, this book is titled as “The Righteous Path” since I intend that all of us should walk with righteousness. Moreover, Lord Krishna has advised this so it holds a sub-heading as ‘SriKrishna’s Teachings’. Now, due to public demand, I am excited to come up with its Revised Edition. This book is my gift to every reader and I have attempted to share the learning’s of the Holy Bhagavad Gita and extract of few other religious books and their notions. All those who are born, are living but it is only the human species who can, if they choose to, can live with dignity. By walking on the righteous path and following SriKrishna’s teachings one can have a, as I call it, ‘dignified living’.
