The instrument bears date July 10, 1875, and is recorded in Suffolk County, L. Libro 124, folio 8. A suit to foreclose this mortgage was pending at the time of the assignment, and is not yet determined. With this exception the Treasury was empty but I am happy to report the receipt of over since the last Commencement, the funds being deposited in the Boston Five Cents savings-bank, and drawing interest at five per cent. Excerpt from The Secretary's Report of the Class of 1866, of Harvard College: June, 1876 June, 1881 Here is your own story of your last five years. I think you will all agree that if they have been as dry and meagre as the account you have given me, they must have been dull enough. However, reticence is often a virtue, and a man who will not give himself away once in five years to his Class Secretary should inspire confidence in any occupation or.in any walk of life. Short as your answers were to my circular, I was pleased with their number; only six out of the one hundred failed to reply.
