Plots receiving no lime, as compared with all other plots that have been limed in 1930 and in 1932, have consistently failed to produce satisfactory crops of lettuce, spinach, radishes, beets, and carrots, and the differences due to lime have become more striking during the past two years. The other crops, including sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, squash, string beans, lima beans, cucumbers and onions, have showed no significant differences due to liming.
