Ignorance is the foundation upon which superstition, vice and immorality rest their hopes. If we would rid the world of these curses, we must remove the foundation by educating the rising generation. God has given us our children endowed with intellectual, moral and spiritual faculties, susceptible of the highest cultivation and grand est attainments. The responsibility for the development of these faculties is placed upon us. 'we must discharge these obligations or fail in our duty to God, to our children, and to so'ciety.
