Download Pen of A Passionate Poet Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Pen of a Passionate Poet emerges from inspiration to dispute wrong notions about man's incapacitation. It emanates as a result of the plenipotential love the poet has for creative writing. The poet has selected appropriate dictions to colour his work. The poems treat various topics which I think everyone who goes through it will find very stimulating and interesting.

Download Diary of a Passionate Poet Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
This humble book that you hold in your hand started out as a diary, written on scraps of paper, and in notebooks that were cobbled together and hidden from view by a lonely, displaced little girl. Katarina B. Viktor filled the pages of her secret book with her thoughts, ideas and musings. She would even wake in the middle of the night with inspired thoughts that she wrote down on any bit of paper she could find, including “sticky notes”. When boredom struck on mundane activities like riding the bus, Katarina’s imagination would soar and she kept adding to her writings. Recording her tumultuous feelings and observations of life’s simple joys and beauties provided Viktor with an escape into the world of imagination. As Katarina gradually developed what became an unshakeable faith in God, the spiritual aspect of her poems deepened. Katarina’s diary became to her more than an inanimate object. It was a friend she could confide in. Yet the biggest allies in Katarina’s life became God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and the beautiful man she met and built a life with, at the point she was most broken. Reading this book is not only a journey into Viktor’s own life. It is an astute observation of the lives of others, of studies on nature and a tribute to Katarina’s strong faith. No matter what your beliefs, there is a deep humanity and appreciation of life to be found in these poems.

Download Dolly's Passionate Poetry Pen Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
'Dolly's Passionate Poetry Pen' is a collection of over 160 short rhyming poems. We all leave our mark on life, no matter how insignificant we think it is, we leave our footprint. Our 'ups' and 'downs', life's good times and life's trials. I was just seventeen when I had my first poem published and I feel I have lived several lifetimes since. In all cultures, emotions are universally recognised, no matter who we are, we all have the same basic feelings. This book charts my personal journey, including places visited, people encountered and situations, both difficult and joyous, in the UK and around the world. Emotional highs and lows, which many may identify with. Life throws its difficult and positive moments, and the main goal is to live life to the full and enjoy every minute. You only get one chance! From the funny to the harsh; fantasy to reality, remembering our history and appreciating nature and beauty in our own back yard, and around the world. Even if you have read very little poetry, this book would be an ideal introduction into the world of rhyme to soothe and amuse, entertain and enlighten. Enjoy 'Dolly's Passionate Poetry Pen'.

Download Poems of Passion Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Among the twelve hundred poems which have emanated from my too prolific pen there are some forty or fifty which treat entirely of that emotion which has been denominated "the grand passion"-love. A few of those are of an extremely fiery character. When I issued my collection known as "Maurine, and Other Poems," I purposely omitted all save two or three of these. I had been frequently accused of writing only sentimental verses; and I took pleasure and pride in presenting to the public a volume which contained more than one hundred poems upon other than sentimental topics. But no sooner was the book published than letters of regret came to me from friends and strangers, and from all quarters of the globe, asking why this or that love poem had been omitted. These regrets were repeated to me by so many people that I decided to collect and issue these poems in a small volume to be called "Poems of Passion." By the word "Passion" I meant the "grand passion" of love. To those who take exception to the title of the book I would suggest an early reference to Webster's definitions of the word.

Download The Passion of the Feather Pen Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Hello, reader. I appreciate you taking the time to read and hopefully enjoy my book. The collection of poems combined to make this book was written over a span of seven years. Many of the poems took years to finish to ensure the correct emotions were portrayed through my words. I am hoping that all readers are able to find a poem inside my book that they are able to relate to. No words would be able to describe the joy I would receive knowing that you understood me and could feel my passion. This book was written with the intention to invite any reader to a small piece of my mind. Sharing my thoughts to the world is an accomplishment that I will not take lightly. Please appreciate this book as I appreciate you. Thank you.

French symbolist artist Odilon Redon (1840–1916) seemed to thrive at the intersection of literature and art. Known as “the painter-writer,” he drew on the works of Poe, Baudelaire, Flaubert, and Mallarmé for his subject matter. And yet he concluded that visual art has nothing to do with literature. Examining this apparent contradiction, The Brush and the Pen transforms the way we understand Redon’s career and brings to life the interaction between writers and artists in fin-de-siècle Paris. Dario Gamboni tracks Redon’s evolution from collaboration with the writers of symbolism and decadence to a defense of the autonomy of the visual arts. He argues that Redon’s conversion was the symptom of a mounting crisis in the relationship between artists and writers, provoked at the turn of the century by the growing power of art criticism that foreshadowed the modernist separation of the arts into intractable fields. In addition to being a distinguished study of this provocative artist, The Brush and the Pen offers a critical reappraisal of the interaction of art, writing, criticism, and government institutions in late nineteenth-century France.
