We present results for B-meson decay modes involving a charm meson, protons, and pions using 455 x 106 B{bar B} pairs recorded by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy ee− collider. The branching fractions are measured for the following ten decays: {bar B}° → D°p{bar p}, {bar B}° → D*°p{bar p}, {bar B}° → D+p{bar p}?−, {bar B}° → D*+p{bar p}?−, B− → D°p{bar p}?−, B− → D*°pp?−, {bar B}° → D°p{bar p}?−?+, {bar B}° → D*°p{bar p}?−?+, B− → D+p{bar p}?−?−, and B− → D*+p{bar p}?−?−. The four B− and the two five-body B° modes are observed for the first time. The four-body modes are enhanced compared to the three- and the five-body modes. In the three-body modes, the M(p{bar p}) and M(D{sup (*)0}p) invariant mass distributions show enhancements near threshold values. In the four-body mode {bar B}° → D+p{bar p}?−, the M(p?−) distribution shows a narrow structure of unknown origin near 1.5GeV/c2. The distributions for the five-body modes, in contrast to the others, are similar to the expectations from uniform phase-space predictions.

The authors present a preliminary measurement of the branching fraction of the B meson decay B° -->?1(1260) -->?+?+?−. The data were recorded with the BABAR detector at the SLAC B factory PEP-II and correspond to 124 x 106 B{bar B} pairs produced in e+e− annihilation through the?(4S) resonance. They find the branching fraction B(B° -->?1+(1260)?−) = (42.6 ± 4.2 ± 4.1) x 10−6. The fitted values of the?1(1260) parameters are m{sub {alpha}1} = 1.19 ± 0.02 GeV/c2 and?{sub {alpha}1} = 312 ± 55 MeV/c2.

We present measurements of B meson decays to the final states [omega]K*, [omega][rho], and [omega]f0, where K* indicates a spin 0, 1, or 2 strange meson. The data sample corresponds to 465 x 106 B{bar B} pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II ee− collider at SLAC. B meson decays involving vector-scalar, vector-vector, and vector-tensor final states are analyzed; the latter two shed new light on the polarization of these final states. We measure the branching fractions for nine of these decays; five are observed for the first time. For most decays we also measure the charge asymmetry and, where relevant, the longitudinal polarization f{sub L}.
