Excerpt from Catalogue of Rare Coins, Tokens, Medals, Paper Money, Etc: To Be Sold by Mail Auction to the Highest Bidder; On Tuesday, October 18, 1932 Please bid by the piece, not by the lot. Thus 3 pieces in'a lot and you wish to bid for lot, then bid 50 cents for each piece. When two bids on the same lot are the same, the first received gets the lot. Where the number of pieces in a lot is not given after the description there is but one piece in the lot. Bidders unknown to us are requested to give reliable reference or their bids cannot be executed, and must forward in advance a remittance or deposit of at least 25% of the amount of their bids. This is final, other wise bid will not be accepted. Express or Postage extra. Should you wish advice. On how much to bid on any item, write us and we shall be glad to inform you as to its value. It is useless to make low bids that have no chance of success. VIII. Bids must be in the office on the morning of the sale. Send your bids at once on receipt of catalogue.
