There is great interest out there in what people can do to improve their longevity. I’ve been writing books about longevity for fourteen years and I realized there was one topic I had not really covered in detail. That topic is what are the foods and supplements we can take which will help make us healthy enough to lengthen our lives. Improving individual longevity is not just about foods and supplements. There are a lot of factors which all affect longevity so I have a chapter here which talks about my work “The 10 Principles of Personal Longevity” which covers those issues in more detail. In addition there are some specific physical issues like telomeres, inflammation, and oxidative stress which also affect chronic diseases and therefore longevity and these are discussed in detail. I also think it is pertinent to see what long lived communities eat so I’ve copied some of the key data and conclusions from my book on four long lived communities around the world to see what their diets are. Some recipes of their traditional foods are also included. Foods and supplements which have been known from historical times and today are discussed in detail for you to learn what the wisdom of the ages and science knows about the correct foods and supplements to eat. After reading this book you will have new ideas about the food, diets, and supplements you can eat to help you live a much longer and healthier life.

In the tradition of Andrew Weil's bestseller Spontaneous Healing, this is a physician's breakthrough medical program for the brain designed to diminish the effect of memory impairment caused by stress, aging, and Alzheimer's disease. As we grow older and experience the stresses of life, at about age 40 many of us begin to have trouble remembering things, concentrating, and generally staying mentally sharp. This book contains a four-part program including nutritional, stress-relieving, pharmacological, and mind-body exercise therapies to help people overcome the undesirable effects of normal brain "aging". By controlling cortisol, a hormone that is toxic to the brain and present in excessive levels as we age, Dr. Khalsa's plan can help improve memory and emotional zest. This is the first book to: Describe a program that may diminish age-associated memory impairment Feature a clinical method that can promote memory functioning impaired by Alzheimer's disease Detail the physical damage done to the brain by stress, how it adversely affects memory and our other mental abilities, and what can be done about it.

I’ve written quite a few books about spirituality and my experiences and beliefs in our abilities to expand our consciousness through spiritual development practices, meditation, and the paranormal. This book includes my experiences with paranormal abilities acquired from the spiritual development process and different enlightenment experiences. Having been raised in a technical family and gone to engineering school my perspective is pretty unique since I developed both traditional technical knowledge of the world while I was also going through the spiritual development and enlightenment process. There are many engineers and scientists who are also religious but I’ve found that technical people who are as deeply into spiritual enlightenment practices and paranormal experiences are pretty rare. What I’ve found is that this dual background has given me more clarity about the world we live in and better objectivity in many cases regarding strange or unusual phenomena. The theme of this book is to review how I went through this dual track system of learning in my life to become both a traditional engineer and to have fairly adept knowledge of spiritual and paranormal experiences.
