The kingdom of heaven is not a pipe dream but God's dream for humankind. Jesus taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come on earth. He painted for us a picture of what life is like in the kingdom of heaven in the Beatitudes. To live in the kingdom of heaven we need to confront and overcome the sins of lust, anger, envy, greed, acedia, pride and gluttony as well as the demons of guilt and fear. The Beatitudes are to prepare the soil of our hearts so that we can bear the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. Like the alcoholics on their journey to recovery, we are on a journey to the kingdom of heaven. The Twelve Steps of the Alcoholics Anonymous can be condensed into the four disciplines of remembering God, examining our hearts, submitting to God and trusting God so that we can have a relationship with God as our Heavenly Father, our Shepherd of Love as well as our Divine Lover. This book is a reflection of the author's journey of living in God's Loving Embrace. Dr. Patrick Kee, a retired palliative physician, had been caring for the elderly sick and terminally ill since 1990. In 2011, he "retired" from general practice to care for the dying as a palliative physician and they taught him the reality of the spiritual dimension of life. In the autumn of his life he found himself in the "desert time of God" which led him to explore and practise contemplative prayer. He stays in Singapore and is married to his wife, Mary, for the past 48 years. He has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

For many people, remaining optimistic and feeling positive about themselves and their lives is a constant battle—especially when circumstances are difficult and life is hard. For others, negativity is something that only sneaks up from time to time, yet still wreaks havoc in their hearts. Regardless of the root causes, once pessimistic thoughts permeate our minds, our feelings and emotions begin to control us instead of us controlling them. Eventually it doesn’t seem possible to stay positive, happy, and full of joy, and negative thought patterns shake our faith, causing us to sink emotionally, mentally, and spiritually over time. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Despite what storms roll in, hearts anchored in God don’t sink. When we change the way we think, we can change the way we feel and live, even if our circumstances remain the same. Intentionally embracing the opportunity to experience a transformed heart and a renewed mind opens the door for a changed life, because a positive mind will always lead to a more positive life. In Unsinkable Faith, author and Proverbs 31 Ministries speaker Tracie Miles offers hope for women who struggle with negativity. Each chapter explores Tracie’s and other women’s personal stories, showing how they rose above their circumstances by transforming and renewing their minds. Unsinkable Faith is a breath of fresh air for anyone longing for a heart full of joy, an unbreakable smile, and a new, more optimistic perspective on life. This book will equip you to: Replace pessimism with positive thinking by becoming the captain of your thoughts; Learn how true joy and happiness are based on choice, not circumstances; Overcome unhealthy habits of negative thinking by intentionally implementing three easy mind-renewing steps; Stop feeling hopeless and pitiful, and start feeling hope-filled and powerful instead; and Discover that when you change the way you think, you change the way feel, and in turn you can change your life completely.

How deep is your intimacy with God? Do you know the deep embrace of His presence in your life? Is the kingdom of heaven something you have learned and heard about, or do you know it personally? God desires this and more for all who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Still many Christians lack in this highly intimate relationship with God.The Lord has come to live in our hearts the moment we accept Him as Lord and Savior. We are already in a relationship. However, this relationship must be nurtured and matured..The only things that can hinder us, is hiding in our hearts. To know Him more deeply and intimately we need deeper surrender and sanctification of our hearts and lives. The heights of our intimacy with God (Father, son, and Holy Spirit) are directly related with our willingness to allow His light to examine our hearts and lives We need the surrender of all He chooses to reveal."Embracing The Intimacy Of God!" is this journey of the heart, developed in and by the intimate presence of God. It shows the emphasis, importance, and rewards of an intimate relationship with God. It gives insight and encouragement to take this amazing journey of "Embracing The Intimacy Of God!"The relationship God offers us is not unlike other promises in the Holy Bible. One section in the book the addresses this more fully is called If and Then." I have often heard that God's promises are yes and amen. Yet are they? If we look at the specific stories of those Jesus healed. Before any of them were healed they were told to do something. "Reach out your hand," "Come down from that tree," "pick up your bad and....." are but a few examples. Their part was so minor compared to what Jesus wanted to do. However, they did have a part they needed to do first. Our relationship with God is like this. In James 4:8 we read, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you," NKJV. God is always faithful in His promises. He will draw near to us. If we are not experiencing the personal deep relationship with God, it isn't because He is letting us down. It is because He is waiting for us to do our part first. We first must draw near to Him. Amazingly, as we make a small move to Him, He often moves a long ways to us. God does so much more then we ever could, yet we must do our small part too. The journey to draw near to God is a journey that begins where the relationship began for us. It begins in our hearts.Order Now or find out more by visiting www.embracingtheintimacyofgod.com
