I have a passionate desire to see people economically transformed. Having experienced abject poverty first hand, my passion is more informed and driven by experience rather than by knowledge. A zealous empowerment for the Body of Christ is a critical aspect of proving the power of our faith. God doesn't just want to make us whole and holy in our spirit - He also wants to establish us in prosperity. The promises He has done to us are not only under-guarded by vows but by clear declaration of His surest intentions to prosper us. He doesn't even call the covenant as 'our covenant', He calls it 'my covenant'. The believer has toyed with this truth for many generations yet God's word on prosperity has been steadfast and unwavering. In fact, God is not just a prosperous God, He is also a prospering God. A Father who has begotten us into wholeness, wellness, completeness, holiness and purchased us from poverty, misfortunes and the debilitating ravages of sin. Living in financial distinction is a carefully handcrafted presentation to teach God's intention, will and plan for His children concerning prosperity. Nothing has been spared in explaining, teaching, proclaiming and describing the place of total financial victory as God intended for His dearly beloved children. The first part of this book takes us on a powerful journey on the 'DOs' - things to do in order to experience this awesome prosperity plan of God for us. It guides on how to align ourselves to divine provision and how to stay connected to the source of our prosperity - God Himself. The second part is the book delves into the 'DONTs' - The pitfalls to avoid in order to walk in financial distinction. It spares no effort in highlighting the traps, exposing the snares, the lies and the misconceptions about making it financially according to God's plan. The message in this book is simple - prosperity is from God and it is for you! This book is a complete outfit designed to cover you in every way on your journey to living in distinction financially as a Christian. The contribution to make you a financial victor has been made with lots of love and a sincere hope that you will embrace these tools and transform your life for good. Your prosperity glorifies God! He has paid every price to grant you the entire financial inheritance He has for you. Receive it - accept it, go and prosper!

Becoming a young Wall Street banker is like pledging the world's most lucrative and soul-crushing fraternity. Every year, thousands of eager college graduates are hired by the world's financial giants, where they're taught the secrets of making obscene amounts of money-- as well as how to dress, talk, date, drink, and schmooze like real financiers. Young Money is the inside story of this well-guarded world. Kevin Roose, New York magazine business writer and author of the critically acclaimed The Unlikely Disciple, spent more than three years shadowing eight entry-level workers at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and other leading investment firms. Roose chronicled their triumphs and disappointments, their million-dollar trades and runaway Excel spreadsheets, and got an unprecedented (and unauthorized) glimpse of the financial world's initiation process. Roose's young bankers are exposed to the exhausting workloads, huge bonuses, and recreational drugs that have always characterized Wall Street life. But they experience something new, too: an industry forever changed by the massive financial collapse of 2008. And as they get their Wall Street educations, they face hard questions about morality, prestige, and the value of their work. Young Money is more than an expose of excess; it's the story of how the financial crisis changed a generation-and remade Wall Street from the bottom up.

Winner of the 2009 Gradiva Award for Outstanding Psychoanalytic Publication! Within the title of her book, Making a Difference in Patients' Lives, Sandra Buechler echoes the hope of all clinicians. But, she counters, experience soon convinces most of us that insight, on its own, is often not powerful enough to have a significant impact on how a life is actually lived. Many clinicians and therapists have turned toward emotional experience, within and outside the treatment setting, as a resource. How can the immense power of lived emotional experience be harnessed in the service of helping patients live richer, more satisfying lives? Most patients come into treatment because they are too anxious, or depressed, or don’t seem to feel alive enough. Something is wrong with what they feel, or don’t feel. Given that the emotions operate as a system, with the intensity of each affecting the level of all the others, it makes sense that it would be an emotional experience that would have enough power to change what we feel. But, ironically, the wider culture, and even psychoanalysts, seem to favor "solutions" that aim to mute emotionality, rather than relying on one emotion to modify another. We turn to pharmaceutical, cognitive, or behavioral change to make a difference in how life feels. Because we are afraid of emotional intensity, we cut off our most powerful source of regulation. In clear, jargon-free prose that utilizes both clinical vignettes and excerpts from poetry, art, and literature, Buechler explores how the power to feel can become the power to change. Through an active empathic engagement with the patient and an awareness of the healing potential inherent in each of our fundamental emotions, the clinician can make a substantial difference in the patient’s capacity to embrace life.
