"How to Make your Pharaoh Hound to STOP Chewing your Shoes, Furniture, Destroy Pillows, Pee on Your Bed, Pull the Leash, Jump Over People, Bark a Lot, Growl and Bite People" FINALLY! An Easy and Simple Resource that Helps You to "Adjust and Correct" Pharaoh Hound Hyperactivity Without Being an Expert or Hire Expensive Trainers... By Mark Mendoza Appreciated Pharaoh Hound Lover: If you are here, it's because your Pharaoh Hound is hyperactive, it moves a lot or has erratic, nervous or excessive behaviours. Well, now you can breath: here I'm going to tell you how to improve all of this. Wouldn't it be wonderful that all puppies and dogs came pre-programed to obey anything we ask, and to behave like little angels? ... But NO! It sounds crazy, but this would sound even crazier... Most of the people with dogs do not have the correct information, so they expect their loyal friends, with four legs and all the fur, to IGNORE their own animal instincts and miraculously change their natural behaviour, just because that's what their humans want. Let's take a closer look... Would you find it logical to expect your dog to NOT act like a dog? Is this idea logic at all? That's the thing: All dogs run, bark, drool, chew, mischief, pee, poo, and even if they are not moles, they dig holes... They can be as untamable as you allow them!! The Good News is... dogs are incredibly intelligent. They can be "programmed", and you can insert in their brains new and better behaviours, the ones you want, so they act and behave like if they were royal. First Let Me Tell You What Does NOT WORK: 1. It's no use to yell at your Pharaoh Hound 2. Or call when it's in a hyperactive frenzy 3. To chase it 4. To hold it Those tactics are invasive and totally useless. And I KNOW thanks to the same reason I know this guide will help you: I know because I studied dog behaviour and nature for years. My method is based not in convenience nor popular knowledge, but in time of study, and try and error. Yes, I made mistakes... so you don't need to make them. My method is called: Secrets To Deal With An Hyperactive Pharaoh Hound What is "Secrets To Deal With An Hyperactive Pharaoh Hound"? It is a complete guide where you will learn all the techniques, tricks and secrets about how to get an obedient, healthy and happy Pharaoh Hound. I will tell you from where these erratic and excessive energies come... The reason behind every nervous and anxious act of your Pharaoh Hound; however, this is NOT a miracle: your Pharaoh Hound will need your help to get better, to feel finally healthy and happy. Because, let me tell you: if your Pharaoh Hound is excessively energetic, erratic and anxious, it is not happy nor healthy. Now, we are here to fix it. Then, what will you get with this guide? You will obtain knowledge, no more and no less: the precise knowledge you need about dog psychology, about how its mind and body work. You will understand why your Pharaoh Hound is so nervous all the time... and you will know, with all precision, how to control it.

(A true story.) Meet Hola. She’s a nightmare, but it’s not her fault if she tackles strangers and chews on furniture, or if she runs after buses and fried chicken containers and drug dealers. No one ever told her not to. Worse yet, she scares her family. Hola may be the most beautiful Bernese mountain dog in the world, but she’s never been trained. At least not by anyone who knew what he was doing. Hola’s supposed master, Marty, is a high-functioning alcoholic. A TV writer turned management consultant, Marty’s in debt and out of shape; he’s about to lose his job, and one day he emerges from a haze of peach-flavored vodka to find he’s on the verge of losing his wife, Gloria, too, if he can’t get his life—and his dog—under control. Desperately trying to save his marriage, Marty throws himself headlong into the world of competitive dog training. Unfortunately, he knows even less than Hola, the only dog ever to be expelled from her puppy preschool twice. Somehow, together, they need to get through the American Kennel Club’s rigorous Canine Good Citizen test. Of course, Hola first needs to learn how to sit. It won’t be easy. It certainly won’t be pretty. But maybe, just maybe, there will be cheesecake.

The ordinary lives of Gary McKinnon and his mother Janis changed dramatically one morning in 2002 when police interviewed Gary about hacking into US government computers. Three years later, on 7 June 2005, he was arrested. Extradition seemed certain and so, fearing that Gary would take his own life rather than be taken away, Janis began her extraordinary battle. Facing up to sixty years' incarceration, Gary was vilified by the authorities, who described his actions as 'the biggest military computer hack of all time'. The truth was rather less dramatic - Gary was searching for signs of UFOs. When he discovered that thousands of NASA and Pentagon computers had no passwords or firewalls he started to leave notes warning that their security was deeply flawed. It was only in 2008 after a TV interview that an expert in autism phoned Gary's solicitors and said he was sure that Gary was suffering from Asperger's syndrome. The stakes were now even higher. The US judiciary had all the might of the world's greatest power. But it had not reckoned on Gary's mother. This is the story of how one woman squared up not only to the Pentagon but also to the British judicial and political systems. It is a book about a mother who took on the world and won.

"Swifter than the Arrow" explores a little-known aspect of life in Ancient Egypt, celebrating the Egyptians as the first known civilisation to have formed the special bond with the dog that persists today as the most remarkable and enduring of human-animal relationships. Five thousand years ago the Egyptians selected and bred hounds for the chase and as the loved companions of both the 'Great Ones' - the ruling classes - and of less exalted folk. For more than twenty-five centuries they kept the breed true, a remarkable achievement to be counted alongside the development of stone architecture and the building of the pyramids, the invention of hieroglyphs, the creation of kingship and of the first nation-state in the world. The dogs on which the Egyptians lavished such loving care and skill were the elegant, slender, prick-eared golden hounds, familiar from a thousand tomb reliefs, that they called tjesm. They were given affectionate names and were the companions of kings, who honoured them with rich burials to ensure that they would be together for ever in the Afterlife. Numerous representations of dogs and their masters from predynastic rock-art through to elaborate tomb paintings and reliefs leave us in no doubt as to the sincerity of the affection that the Egyptians felt for their dog companions. The first named dog-lover in history was the earliest known queen, Herneith, who was buried with her hound at Saqqara. Dogs and other canines also played their roles in the rich pantheon of ancient Egyptian religion, figuring as semi-divine messengers between the worlds of the living and the dead. Perhaps the most familiar such deity is the sleek, black jackal-headed god Anubis, guardian of the Necropolis and attendant of the underworld. "Swifter than the Arrow" also examines the evidence that hounds living today - most notably modern breeds such as the so-called 'Pharaoh Hound' - are directly descended from the Egyptian hound. It reveals remarkable information about the ancestry of the hounds of the Mediterranean islands that unmistakably share the appearance and character of the dogs that once raced across the Egyptian deserts. This unique book throws fresh light on our understanding of ancient Egypt while providing a completely fresh insight into the development of mankind's remarkable bond with the domesticated dog.
