Johnnie Calloway is a gifted story teller, and has written a superb personal account of his harrowing childhood, and adult life. Although he retells his experiences of emotional and physical abuse, neglect, heartache, and betrayal, and later his own addictions and struggles with mental illness, he manages to keep the reader thoroughly engaged and inspired by his strength and wisdom throughout this page turner. Johnnies willingness to be soul-baringly honest in this book as he traces his earliest memories into his teens and then adult years is truly unlike anything I have ever read. I have no doubt that his display of courage and his determination to go to any lengths necessary for his own healing will serve as a guiding light for countless readers. It is a story of hope and love, forgiveness and healing. I only wish it had been available when I was a practicing addictions counselor. I would have made it required reading! These poems came about due to being incarcerated. These poems have helped me escape the reality of life. Many poems express how one person feeling about someone or something. Some of my poems have a feeling of a dark side. Others express a kind, caring and loving side. Facing daily challenges has giving me the inspiration to express my feelings and thoughts. Others, also have inspired me to write these poems, which is my way of expressing myself. Many write poems to the special someone or express the anger or saddness. These poems express struggle, solitude, and emotional strings being pulled in many directions. These poems have also helped me escape the reality of prison. What I have felt soon enough helped me bring them to paper as a poem. As you, the reader, I hope you feel what I felt as I wrote them.

A sweeping epic fantasy weaving both destiny and ancient magic in this masterful final novel in the beloved Five Warrior Angels trilogy from Brian Lee Durfee. In the age of belief, magic is a myth. But when an apocalyptic crusade comes to the remote border of Gul Kana, that belief is shattered as is the tenuous peace that held the Five Isles together. Now, the prophecies that were used to justify this war are unravelling revealing a hidden agenda while the world lies in the wake of the degradations of this war. But a slim skein of hope resides within the hidden truths, long kept secret, and scattered throughout the isles—truths less reliant upon prophecy than heroism, and great sacrifice. Not everything is as it seems in this epic, long-awaited conclusion to trilogy which Booklist raved as “high fantasy in the vein of Stephen R. Donaldson or David Eddings, with generous helpings from George R. R. Martin.”
