In the second place we must consider the question of infectiousness. During this late stage of chronic gonorrhea the disease need not be transmitted in a florid form but in one that I term venereal catarrh. This is a purulent inflammation of the vagina, urethra and adnexa, the severity of which will de pend upon the resistance of the patient's mucous membrane.
