Correspondence from Dr. H. Gray to John Torrey, dated June 11, 1831. Gray acknowledges receipt of a copy of Agardh's "Systema algarum" from Torrey, sent in anticipation of Gray's sending plants in return. Gray asks if Torrey needs all the flora from "this section of country" (identified only as Norwich) or only the rarities. He then goes on to describe two specimens he is enclosing for identification.
