We present the measurement of the ratios of branching fractions B(B ° -+ D-r +) to B(Bo -+ D--+), and B(B2 -+ OD-rr+rr - ) to B(Bo -- D-urx+r+-r- ). We analyze data taken with the CDF II detector that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 355 pb - 1 in pp collisions at V = 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron. Using a novel displaced track trigger we reconstruct 494 ± 28 B° -+ D;-r+ decays, 8098 + 114 BO -4 D-r + decays, 159 + 17 B° -+ D;-rr+7+rr- decays, and 3288 ± 76 Bo - D-rr++T77r- decays. Using the world average value of the B°-to-Bo production ratio fs/fd = 0.259 ± 0.038, we determine the ratios of branching fractions B(Bo -+ D-r +) -= 1.13 ± 0.08(stat.) ± 0.05(syst.) + 0.15(BR) ± 0.17(PR), B(Bo -+ D-rr+) B(Bo -+ D -rr+ r+rx- ) (= 1.01 ± 0.11(stat.) ± 0.06(syst.) ± 0.14(BR) B(Bo -+ D-7r-+r + + 0.15(PR), ri- ) where the uncertainties labeled BR and PR refer to the uncertainty on the D meson branching fractions and the production ratio fs fd, respectively.

The branching fractions of decays of the D+s meson normalize many measurements of processes involving charm quarks. Using 298 pb-1 of e+e- collisions recorded by the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we determine absolute branching fractions for eight D+s decays with a double tag technique. In particular we determine the branching fraction BD+s & rarr; K-K +pi+) = (5.50 +/- 0.23 +/- 0.16)%, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic respectively. The uncertainty in these determinations is roughly a factor of two better than previous world averages. We also search for possible CP asymmetries and provide partial branching fractions for kinematic subsets of the K-K+pi + decay mode.

The recent CLEO-c results on hadronic decays of D and D{sub s} mesons are presented. First the absolute branching fractions for D and D{sub s} mesons using a double tag technique are discussed, then are the Cabibbo suppressed decays and doubly Cabibbo suppressed decays. Finally, I present the inclusive and rare decay modes and other measurements from CLEO-c. These decays illuminate a wide range of physics. A brief theoretical introduction is given before the corresponding discussion on measurement.

We present a preliminary measurement of the branching fraction of the B meson decay B{sup 0} {yields} a{sub 1}{sup +}(1260){pi}{sup -}with a{sub 1}{sup +}(1260) {yields} {pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -}. The data sample corresponds to 218 x 10{sup 6} B{bar B} pairs produced in e{sup +}e{sup -} annihilation through the {Upsilon}(4S) resonance. We find the branching fraction (40.2 {+-} 3.9 {+-} 3.9) x 10{sup -6}, where the first error quoted is statistical and the second is systematic. The fitted values of the a{sub 1}(1260) parameters are m{sub a{sub 1}} = 1.22 {+-} 0.02 GeV/c{sup 2} and {Lambda}{sub a{sub 1}} = 0.423 {+-} 0.050 GeV/c{sup 2}.
