A Roman soldier dies on a Middle Eastern battlefield during the pre-Christian era. Captured, chained and humiliated in the afterlife, he suddenly finds himself being led by a band of demons to the first circle of hell. As he makes the arduous journey downward, Ioannes reflects upon his earthly life and his search for knowledge of the one true God. He wonders why he has been condemned and regrets not sharing his belief in Adonai with his friend and fellow legionnaire, Cælius. After the death of Ioannes, Cælius goes through a conversion of heart. This conversion not only leads to God, but to a change in his military status. He leaves the legion to become a sailor in the Roman Navy. Over the next couple of years, he achieves a small amount of peace as he sails the Mediterranean Sea. During port calls, he discretely visits local Rabbi who teach him about God and the coming Messiah. Unfortunately, some of his shipmates take notice of the changes in him and become suspicious. His new faith is revealed and tested during a storm off the coast of Cyprus, where he gives his life trying to save his shipmates. Cælius too finds himself descending into Hades, but on a very different path than his friend. Ioannes must pass through the gates of hell on foot and face a demonic court where his sins are exposed. Cælius finds himself floating down the River Styx into the underworld. He must evade demonic raiders and underwater monsters but is soon cornered on the banks of the river by an unholy siren. Having arrived in Hell before the Messiah, what do these humble warriors witness after the crucifixion of Jesus? Will their newfound faith lead to their salvation as just pagans? Or are they destined to be separated in Hell forever?

A visceral, first-hand account of the afterlife. Laurie Ditto's life was forever marked when she experienced supernatural visions of hell. She knew these encounters were meant as a wake-up call for herself and others, so she has made it her mission to share this message with the world. The Hell Conspiracy is a somber warning. It records harrowing accounts of souls enduring endless torture and eternal separation from God. It also reveals terrifying secrets of the afterlife in Hell, including... The five pains of hell: water, bone marrow, breath, agreement, and the garment. The activity of demons. The connection between unforgiveness and eternal torment. The ultimate destination and fate of the condemned. The changing shape of people's bodies in hell. But this book is also a beacon of hope! These horrors are contrasted with the glorious hope of Heaven. Those who receive salvation through Jesus escape torment and experience an eternity of life as it was meant to be: as renewed bodies, souls, and spirits in perfect relationship with God. The alarm is sounding! Heaven and Hell are real. Where will you go?

Everything about forty-four-year-old Renee Strazio's life is perfect. Just a little too perfect. Manicured, pampered, and pedigreed, she has a wealthy, successful, and attractive husband and a son who makes her proud. She is the envy of her friends and neighbors, but only she knows it's all a glittery façade. Despite the many comforts, benefits, and privileges of her luxurious life, she is not-so-quietly unsatisfied with it all. This shallow perfection becomes blatantly apparent when she takes a cruise with her husband and son. Inspired by the raw beauty of the sea and the islands, she finds herself questioning many of the choices she has made that have brought her to this point. Bored and frustrated, she wonders if she has even chosen the right partner in this life. At the core of her struggle lies a burning desire to live life on her own terms. Despite the risk, Renee sets out to find herself. When her longing for the deep, intimate connection her husband could never fulfill drives her to satiate her curiosity with the ship's female masseuse, Priti, Renee is reawakened. In Priti's arms, on that one glorious day, Renee discovers a passion unlike any she's ever known. The experience recharges her sexual and spiritual intensity. The luxury cruise becomes a journey of discovery and disclosure that could potentially give Renee more than she had ever imagined--a life of her own.

It's obvious from the bookshelves and the big screen that heaven is on everyone's mind. All of us long to know what life after death will be like. Bestselling author John Burke is no exception. For decades, he has been studying accounts of people who have had near-death experiences (NDEs). While not every detail of individual NDEs correlate with Scripture, Burke shows how the common experiences shared by thousands of survivors clearly point to the God of the Bible and the exhilarating picture of heaven he promises. Imagine Heaven is an inspirational journey through the Bible's picture of heaven, colored in with the real-life stories of heaven's wonders. Burke compares gripping stories of NDEs to what Scripture says about our biggest questions of heaven: Will I be myself? Will I see friends and loved ones? What will it look like? What is God like? What will we do forever? What about children and pets? This book will propel readers into an experience that will forever change their view of the life to come and the way they live life today. It also tackles the tough questions of heavenly reward and hellish NDEs. Anyone interested in NDEs or longing to imagine heaven more clearly will enjoy this fascinating and hope-filled book.
